It does look better with colors. But you have too many triangles and the font is just too thin. You don't need to keep "A" inside a triangle, make it a bit thicker and color it with the darker green. Also, the symbol needs a bit more work, there are too many surfaces that just don't work together.

I think it is time to go back to the drawing board and try anything by triangles. You have done a couple versions and they just aren't working. I realize it is hard to give up on a vision, but there must be something better out there, you just haven't found it yet.

Yeah, you totally lost the whole negative space thing with these dark green trapezoid shapes.

And that triangle on the A is totally random and serves no purpose, on top of complicating things.

Scrap it and swap your mouse for a pen and sketch a few hundred ideas.
