Brief from client 

Looking for a new logo and threw this together after some sketches. I'm confused if this is a workable option or if I should go back to the drawing board

Try #2 improved the mark and tried a dosis light typeface

Much better, clean & minimal. Since there's only a few letters you could draw them yourself & match the line weight/end caps of the symbol & get some more circular curves. The angle of the J's top could maybe be the same as the symbol's.
