This just doesn't work for me, sorry.

It's funny, when I saw this it instantly reminded me of old Shigeo Fukuda and his brilliant design style. Here is the most famous sample of his work:

I don't know why in your website your have a logo that includes the whole word "Ping" yet you submit only the yellow cup that makes the "i"

"Ping" looks way better than just this. I would paint the dot in black since it is not a part of the cup. Is it the lid? it doesn't look like.
