Brief from client 

Just playing around, no training in graphic design. Any feedback would be nice.

Changed type to all grey, used a darker red for the icon.
Also adjusted size of icon.

Love it.
Simple & Cool.
Although..
Type seems generic and expected. If you could find that one typeface that really fits with the icon because I think the icon is perfect. Then you will have people saying wow. Own the fact that you have a cool looking logo and a unique name/icon with a better fitting typeface.
