Brief from client 

I am free to do whatever I want. As you can tell, it's a logo for a company that will stand for auto parts.

I removed the pentagon and the "distracting" lttle lines, as you guys suggested me, though I don t like because the retro style is now gone and its kinda plain too (am I right?). I also changed the font. I wasn t quite happy with the first one. I want to know what you think of this and I will upload a new version with a more retro feel. Thanks! :)

I liked version 1 a lot better. This one just doesn't stand out like the other one did IMO.

yea i see what you mean, i do actually like this one though but your right about it loosing the retro feel and im not sure about the axle running inbetween the two lines now that ive seen it. Keep playing around with it and im sure you'll have something your completely satisfied with in the end
