Definitely with the text as 2D!
I still don't personally get the cross logo. It's used too big here and reminds me of some type of religious group..

I would suggest changing up the logo to something more simple and reducing the size..
The colour is a bit environmental for a tattoo shop possibly try red..

yeah i reallly think that i would be nice to explain a little more of the symbol and the choice of the green color. You may not want something obvious for your ltatto shop´s logo , but it´s too abstract for my taste.

I would suggest to start with no colors. Make the symbol smaller and find other font. Check this, maybe it helps: http://losttype.com/browse/.

Nah, I don't think it's working. Looks more like a logo for a L'Oréal product.
