Brief from client
The logo should be simple, yet distinct. The concept of tailwind should invoke feeling of
- Forward momentum,
- a wind at your back,
- a supporter/ally/champion/partner/hero/etc.
Logo should invoke the following important brand values:
- Credibility, Trustworthiness, Positivity, Professionalism
- Fostering Engagement/connection between brand and consumer, helping the brand understand who their customers/audience are.. and how they can better reach them.
- Expanding Reach and building community
- Targeting to reach more of the right people; those who are already interested in you.
- Boiling down something complex into simple and meaningful insights
- Being ahead of the game, ahead of the curve, on the brink, cutting-edge.

Yes. I like the contrast this gives. You could even do without the gradient on the text and go with the gray from the middle-to-dark range of the gradient. It's clean and simple. I like it.
Nice font choice but the kerning is off.
Not a fan of the symbol though. Too simplistic.
