Team Analytics & Innovation
Brief from client
Hi guys!
Im working on this brand design which is meant for a team composed mainly of business/data analysts, app developers and data base administrators (I´m one of the analysts and given that im also into graphic design i proposed that some branding design would be really cool for the team at a corporate level).
Well i will cut to the chase and try to not bore you guys.
There are 3 main concepts that the General Manager wants the brand to communicate: Innovation - Analytics - Development (app programming).
Some secondary concepts are: Technology, Metrics, Teamwork, integrity, customers satisfaction
Given that the team is inside of a big corporation, the brand will have to coexist most of the time with the motherbrand. So i want the logo to be flashy, but i want to avoid a visual competition between the 2 logos (correct me here if im wrong onto this approach)
I will be working on some different visual approaches and will be including new versions. The first ones are Iconic version and Geometrical Abstract Version. I will continue working on this and uploading new ones as soon as i have them.
I look forward for your feedback and opinions!
Thank you!

Of all the concepts so far this is the one I'm drawn to the most - although I have to ask...why is this one in Spanish and all the others are in English? The name of the company sounds better the shorter you make it, mostly because Team Analysis & Innovation sounds more like a tagline then a company name.
I also realize that Team A&I could possibly be misread as Team AI (Team Artificial Intelligence.) So I like the idea of Team being in the name, but maybe try some other shorter names that will work as well? Seeing that you're a subdivision of a larger corporate entity, the idea behind using Team in the name makes sense...but it still needs to be less wordy.
As for the logo itself, its not bad, but it also has a lot of cliche symbols being used in the concept. The problem is that your logo ends up looking like it came from a stock site, or that you just put together a logo using easily obtained vector graphics from said stock sites. The other concepts are a fair bit too complex for my tastes.
This version was part of the naming process, and im from south america hence the spanish name haha! I agree with you on the fact that the name should be shorter. Agree also on the cliche stock icon issue, im moving forward on the "abstract concept" path right now. Thank you kayinvanderkill for your opinion!
Dude, don't go there. CGP Grey isn't the forgiving kind. Originality is tough and we all draw inspirations from existing work, but there's a huge difference between inspiration and this.
