Triathlon Race

A lot of things are happening, I think it is too much. Is there a way to discuss that with your client?

Way too complicated indeed. Maybe if the hand made lettering was made better, it could kinda work, but right now, it's way too messy.

Also, the idea of having the 3 disciplines symbolized in the logo is of course very tempting when you're creating a triathlon logo, but this is what everybody does, with more or less success. Do a rapid Google search for "triathlon logo" and you'll see what I mean. It's really not original, now. Try to find a simpler solution.

I am really not opposed to this, usually something this busy I would disagree with; but seeing as it is a clients request and it portrays what it is, I think it kind of works. To me it looks very much like the Le Tour De france logo, it has the same wispy-ness to it. But it is obvious that is the direction you were going in. So my final words are good job, I think these kind of logos are aloud to be busy and more playful. I wouldn't change it much, but would also be willing to see if you had any more ideas about how to execute this.
