Brief from client
This logo has potential, please work on it more.
Here is the new version. Please give me feedback on this logo.
I'm sensing a lack of sketching here. This just seems weak to me. As cooperads stated, the colors are stronger here. The font is okay, but it doesn't match the symbol very well. I would go to pencil and paper and rework the general concept before going to your computer and mashing two symbols together.
not liking the heart, and the colors are a bit blah. orange (an grey together) is one of those colors that will probably come across as cheap for the demographic you're going for...
You almost there as far as the symbol goes... All you need is to solve a few things to make it memorable. Lose that heart and keep wedding band solid. Also, do not separate a wedding band from a musical note. I'm going to give you a small hint - wedding rings are always interlocked as far as a classic image goes. Now you need to get that symbol nailed. Agree with above comments on colors. Cooler font will be a plus , too.
The simplicity of the symbol works with the font, but the font doesn't work with the subject. Wedding fonts are usually calligraphic scripts or very nice serif fonts - both of which I think would clash with your symbol.
Color-wise, you should go closer to a true gold rather then the bright orange cartoon gold you saw in Bugs Bunny cartoons. One of the most popular pantone "golds" is 872 for example.
Another thing I noticed is that you have gold wedding ring over the I in wedding but its not exactly centered. This makes it look like you didn't really plan the text placement very well. I'd either center it over the I with your new font or pull it further away so it doesn't look like a mistake if its not intentional.

I am not certain the heart shape rather than the diamond shape added anything to this. I like the colors a lot better.

Good luck.

also, font is too tall and angular to match the symbol.

As with your previous version, the idea is great. I think the execution isn't quite there just yet.
I liked the symbol of the ring of the first version. In this case the heart isn't as symbolic of wedding as a diamond.
I do like that you used one ring, after all, wedding are more a women's thing than men's.
The typography is too syfy, it doesn't feel it belongs in this concept.
The colors can work, I think it's more about the visual, design than colors at this point.
Try creating a logo in just black, think about the color later and focus on the mark.
You're in the right track.
