Brief from client
The company will be a holding company for several other projects, in several sectors, so the logo itself shouldn't be limited to one particular sector. (Tricky..)

This is Stage No.4 in my own process. I look into lots of fonts and see which works best and has certain letter connections or the flow of just one leg, and try to work something from them all.
With this particular logo, the letters were all quite simple and none have any expressive strokes. No i to dot, or t to cross, or y to ..swoosh.. So I tried to give some of the subtler details a little extra flavour.
What is the name of the font you picked?
There's a good mix of Oleo, Pluto and Sonsie One. At this stage it doesn't actually have any of the original features of any of those fonts though, maybe the e's still have a lot of Pluto's characteristic's.
Its good to re-trace fonts for the letters you like with a line tool, so then you can adjust the thickness as and when you need too. I also managed to fill an entire sketcbook while working on this too. You need to study how you write the word, aswell as studying fonts. Fonts give you a direction in terms of genre, and writing it by hand will show you how to give that genre and good hand made feel.
This is stage no.7
Very cool!
love the typo on this one Joe but i kinda feel that the symbol lets it down a little.. its definately not bad but i dont think its great either. i think it needs some more work.
At first I didn t actually thought about the "Well" as a fountain, but then I realized.
I think the icon itself relates very good between the company holding their projects and the fountain (Well) holding the bucket with water. Overall I think it stands out very strong. Nicely done, Joe!
One small thing to add is that the second "e" from "eves" has its tail thinner than the other "e's". Or maybe its just me. :)
