Lighthouse Youth Ministries

Brief from client

This is a rebranding project for a group I work with. We are completely changing our name.

This version is more based on the Youth Pastors handwriting style as well as his overall vision for the graphics... more grafitti based

the idea is not bad at all, but i would go with something rounder in the symbol, more grafitti like....roundedr corners and rounder shapes....more fluid overall....

Bad Graffiti, the other ones are better.

I like this one - youthful, simple, effective. You could play with the colors... if you like

I agree with hueroth, change up the colors (something about the spring green and yellow orange just rubs me the wrong way) and make the lighthouse symbol look more like the graffiti- rounder, edgier, etc so that it 'matches' the font! Over all though, I like this more than your previous versions!

This is a big step in the right direction for your demographic. I don't mind the colors, but I would probably choose just one color accent for both "house" and the light house. I might also make the light house taller (meaning extend the base down) to make it look less like a coleman lantern.

I would be very careful with the colors you choose. The type face you are using is very similar if not the same as thee type face used in the Spencer's logo and because you are using orange I immediately thought of the Spencer's logo when I saw yours. Try playing around with some other colors to take that connection away. Although I think if you take the suggestions made by the others you will be on the right track towards a good looking logo.

I'd take a look at Monito's pictures, and simplify it down to something slightly more in line with those.

The graffito clashes, to my eye, with the cliparty pastel shades of colour you've chosen. Be more bold with colour or remove it altogether.
