Brief from client 

Client wants an apple shaped logo to use as a small intro to his youtube videos. His nickname, Manzana (spanish for Apple) needs to be included.

Client creates many short videos on youtube so I thought of designing a camera lense in the shape of an apple. This is only a first draft. Im sure my lense needs some work but just wondering if the concept looks okay. Thanks any tips will be much appreciated.

When I first saw it, it looked like an a screaming apple, the lens flares looked like teeth and tongue.

Sorry, with this kind of glossy treatment and these shades of grey, your logo is too close to the Apple logo for comfort.

Yes, you need a way to make an apple very different, and that is hard.
May I suggest a screaming apple with teeth and a tongue? :D
