Brief from client
To produce a logo for a friend of mine who will be starting a nice lil production house.
Quite a tricky job as its just the numbers 1 and 2 really, so im sure there are 1000's of ideas to try out.
And here it is, 5 hours or raw production time.

And what does "XXII" stand for? 2002?
There is way too much text to read for a logo.
Make it more simple to make it better.
You can see the simple variations in previous versions. This version was really for the animation and as stated it is an animation for a badge, the logo is actually more towards the centre.
I know theres alot to consider, but this is not the final logo, this is the badge. The client is over the moon, as the brief was to produce something quite mysterious. Would appreciate it if you took the time to consider the details before giving over your comment.
Also the XXII is 22, as the name is 1-22-1, but this wasn't to be clear. my client mostly has a fascination with the numbers 1 and 2. so its actually I - XXII - I.
Why is the idea bad? I feel it suited the brief almost perfectly at this stage.
Is the typography really bad?

I used flash CS3, there are alot of mask's and every motion has a tween in and out for all the extra smoothness. Its really an oldschool thing I think now.. Seems no ones heard of flash anymore..
I absolutely love that logo & animation! It's deliciously smooth and modern. The only thing I would say is that by looking at the logo or animation, I wouldn't know the name of the company...
But I must say you are extremely talented!
Yeah, sorry but the 1221 is still really not readable. Everything else is cool though.
