Brief from client
A new start-up that creates round, colourful swings for kids that are made from fair-trade rope of the Philippines. Design, but still fun. The logo is for the product, not for the company itself.
I did some more sketching and used the two moving foots/footprints in the logo.

I'm giving my non designer opinion.
I think that the foots make it look like a dancing related thing, like a dancing school, instead of a swing brand.
Drawing a swing would be better, maybe with a child having fun with it.
About the font, I don't know what to say, better let it for a designer to comment.
This looks much better. It certainly looks like a colorful logo that represents a company targeted toward children and fun.
Before I get into my critique, however, I have to wonder if you represented the right definition of "swing." If I hadn't known any better, I would have pegged this for a "swing dancing" logo. But I believe you were aiming for a playground swing, if I'm not mistaken.
While I do admire the out-of-the-box thinking in that sense, and while footsteps do represent running/playing, it may not be what the client had in mind. But you know more about them than I do, so I'll leave that to your discretion. Just wanted your thought process on this.
My idea was that the feet are the frontal view of when a kid is using the swing.
I didn't thought of the dancing side of the logo, it's a very good remark. Maybe I can do a side view of the kid's feet when swinging.
