DESHA - Creative Design

Brief from client

With the concretization of a child dream to create an agency together my brother, came the task of give it a name.

Aiming to create a name that have a good sonority and easy to remember, allying responsibility and personality we arrive at name “DESHA” that have a sound like “DEIXA”, which in Portuguese means “Leave” or “let”. The slogan is “We do it” and give the complete and literal meaning of word.

Another part in conception of name carries is the activity filed together the names initials:

DES – Design
H – Héverton (my own name)
A – Anderson ( my brother’s name)

With a script font, try to represent elegancy and funny. The symbol makes an exclamation point which means an affirmation.

DESHA! A gente faz (LET! We do it)

The biggest challenge of this logo is became it simple e easy to use, without many aggregate draws. Now my doubt is to meet your opinion, is know if I have to use the symbol or just the typography.

Hope you enjoy it.

Using D (Desha) and C (Creative) I made an owl

I see an owl. Is that what you were trying to have as a symbol? (and why, if I may ask?)
I like the typography too. I don't see much wrong with this.

Yes, because the owl represents wisdom and superior vision and I needed a symbol for my logo

Nobody ask me to say something, but i want to say that this is beautiful.

The owl figure supports aswell the DC that stands for Desha Creative in a very subtle way that brings an upper professional sense.

The thing is: will be the slogan a complement that won't appear in companion of the logo?

If the answer is yes, everything is ok.
If the answer is no, i recommend you to remove "creative".
Another solution could be to use the slogan as a brand complement placing it all over that places where the slogan doesn't. In that way, it will work as a subreptice reminder for the brand.

If this is what you are pretending to do, it will be nice to see a complementary typeface that persists in keeping the brand identity and your philosophy.

You can tweak a little the kerning of A, it doesn't look uniformly separated fron the rest.

Hope this helps.

I like it, but I'm not a fan of all that space between the each letters of Desha.

I think that this, plus the space above and below create an uneasy feeling when I look at this logo.

But you're almost there.

Congrats!

Maybe make the eyes a little bigger to make it more owl-like?
Clever use of the DC in the symbol though!

i like this but im not sure that i like it more than version 4 or 5 or not.. I think you should put a little beak on the owl to make it totally obvious that its a owl. i also agree with shawali on the text and i think you should use a font with sharp corners to match your symbol for the word DESHA
