I love the idea. I think the chemical bottle could be more convincing, though. I'd also take care to deviate a bit from the old pepsi logo there :) The wave dividing the yellow and green gave me that impression. So yeah, That bottle could use a bit of a rework :)
You've already sort of cleared up the typography placeholder, so that's all well and good.
I know exactly what you mean about that Pepsi wave...it happens to be a great simple way to represent water/liquid but I'll put some thought into it, thank you.
When you say the bottle could be more convincing, what do you mean? Might you be able to clarify? I'm trying to avoid any 3D-ish, highlight/lowlight attempts to make it appear spherical. Any insight there would be appreciated....especially if you know of an example that leans toward what you have in mind.
I see where you are going with the bottle/lamp, it is a very nice idea but it needs some work.
I don't like the 2 colors they don't compliment each other.
And by the way If i were you i wouldn't have posted this design since the font isn't the one you want.
Thank you as well. Yes, I've been struggling with finding a decent color pair that would imply light (from the bulb) and what people generally perceive to be a chemical (in movies the liquids are often glowing greens, blues, etc).
Even more challenging has been finding a font that is industrial and complimentary to the bulb/flask.
Thank you both again, I appreciate it.
yeah maybe try to use a neon color? for the font i would chose one that has curves to match your symbol.
