Logo for Gordons Heating & Air Conditioning

Here is my second version. I can't tell if the gradient is making it look old. And I'm still unsure about coloring the subtext as well.

I like this one the best. The gradient is less dominant, and it looks the most modern that way.

If you have the time, try the GORDON in red&blue (red top, heat up)
and if you can set the bottom line as Air Conditioning & Heating in black,
so you don't have all the «on» in the same spot.

Like this? Or did you mean a Gradient? Either way I think the Gray title and colored subtext (version 3) looks more modern and easy on the eyes.
