Brief from client
This is a design for me to use on upcoming business cards and websites.. I want something modern that will stand out and look clean.. The 'T.Skillen' are my initials..
A few changes to the colours from the previous version and my name added to the logo to complete it as my personal identity..
Let me know your guys opinions and if there's any areas I can improve the logo.. This logo is looking more presentable with each version, I REALLY appreciate everyone's feedback..

I think the green background is not helping that much. I think you can eliminate the green box and still get something with the essence of the logo you present here. some little adjustments like:
or this, I did it black and white but it could be the colors green and white, or orange and white or something that looks good

I agree that the box around it wasn't really there for a reason..
