Pigment Print Logo 2

Brief from client

This is for our small online shirt printing business
Targeting young people age 14 -25 y/o

Logo should also look good on a shirt

What about this?

I've thought of a parrot symbolizing "pigment" or "color"

Anything to improve on this? or this is just a no?

Totally on board with Shanuea. You're just riffing on the computer right now. Let go of it and grab a pen and a piece of paper.

The font is Hobo - not good at all.

I think that the full parrot used on its own once only could work with a change of font.

This is my favorite of your ideas so far. I agree with Jon, just one parrot is enough. Use the full body parrot as your symbol, and make the "P" just a P. No parrot foot for an "I" either.

Do some research on fonts and I think you could be onto something!

If you decide to go with the full parrot, I would advise to pick an idea for how you want the parrot to look and follow through. If you are going for a geometric look, like in the tail, go geometric throughout on the graphic only, not necessarily the tyopgraphy. If you want that curved to sharp-end look, fix the tail to follow through on that idea.

I know you've probably heard this before, but seriously start with pencil and paper.

Clearly too many elements, concentrate on one direction. The colors are nice, but keep it simple, one symbol, one type.
