Brief from client 

The client makes holsters for handguns and sheaths for knives out of kydex material. Wants a simple military or and outdoors feel to the logo.

this is really cool!! i prefer this one to Version 4 as its easier to see and sharper and the subtle background texture is really nice. It would also look great just solid black i think and in army shades similar to the colour you used in version 1.

Hell yes! This is by far the most rugged and interesting version to me. The only thing I'd look at are the notches on the grips of the knifes but this is way cool. Nice work!

This is not exactly what I in mind for the texture. Here I see a dark picture of some stones rather than a real texture.

Try this for size. It's picture of a chalkboard. I just inverted the values and intensified contrast.
