Sour Apple Cafe

Looks cool, maybe watch the 'sour' positioning with the curve of the 'C' under it, forms a bit of empty unbalanced space.. Also would probably use a more vibrant colour to emphasize the 'CAFE' maybe even try a different font.

Keep this font! Its very strong and simple, easy to read and recognizable....

Welcome. I have to say, if this is really your first attempt go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back. Your composition is pretty strong, font selection is, and, while you could use a more vibrant green, I kind of like the flatter colors used as well.

What you should spend some more time on is refining the details. The general shape of the apple is good. It doesn't have to be totally realistic looking in this usage but I would shape up the stem some. You have smooth flowing curves making the body of the apple but the stem is very static and angular.

Also, tighten up the text alignment. The "E" in APPLE and the "E" in CAFE aren't aligned and I would also check to make sure the left side is squared up.

You're off to a good start. Keep posting.

Brilliant design, im a beginner myself and learning the basics at A Level at school. I like the overall design, just i think the overall green theme used needs to be a little bit more vibrant and appealing, also making it happier which i guess would help when consumers look at the logo applied to shop livery and advertisments.

I think the green is dull, you might want to consider a different green.
Have you tried a flat version of the apple?

Pretty fashionable. That's good. But it could be a stocklogo. Not much of an edge, so to say.

Its defiantely a good start and i way prefer this font and the colours. U need to watch out for your kearning though, the "s" in sour looks to far away from the "o"

One major thing i would say is that if this was my company i would want SOUR APPLE to be the main text that is read first.. with the way you have it atm with CAFE being so big when you first look at it you almost miss the name and just read CAFE. I think you need to think about the hierarchy of the text. others may disagree with me on this but i always think the company name should be the first thing you see in a logo then CAFE can be the sub text

I love it. My favorite. And this is amazing for your first time !! Just refine the details a bit.

I like this version I would just pump up the color a bit to a cooler green tone and above align the words sour apple flush with the word café.
