I try to combine the part of a roman warrior helmet , my last name ochoa that in spanish is a 8A

I wonder if doing the 8a idea will come across as a clever play on words, like you hope. Try something simpler (flat). No effects. Different typefaces for testing how letter and number shapes work together.

I still think it will work. You need to work on the execution.
I strongly suggest using pencil and paper to work out your ideas. This looks like an idea you tried to throw together on the computer and it didn't work out. I think there is something to the idea... do lots of sketches.. it will come together naturally after a while (hopefully).
