I can kind of see where you're going with the tough and thick vector, but I think it has some errors. When I look at it, I see a V first, it's hard to communicate the M very well. I think it's a little too complicated. Also you need to clean up some of the edges on the bottom left and right of the symbol. I can see where the line has a ridge. Experiment with it some more

Torn between this version and the other. I do wonder if the "V" can mislead...but I do see an "M." See my other critique. May need a tweak or two...but the idea is there and you will nail it, hence all green thumbs.
