Brief from client
Creative agency that focuses on growth, linking, and evolving.
Took off the outlines and hollowed out the "glossies" so now its basically a cutout. Took off the font in the center in hopes that it will be memorable at smaller sizes. Still going with the flat look I suppose. Any critique on this is welcomed.
what about a mosaic flower ? more colors, more geometry and tones in colors, thin but sharp outlines? this is like a bubble. I am sorry I didn't answered your previous invites to critique but the logo was untouchable for my mind at that time.
Take another direction with that, inspire from mosaics from chrurches, roman baths, arabian or asian culture etc. Than choose a pattern to follow than modify, make some sketches than work on computer if you feel better.
Also take care at details, must be readable at smaller scale.
Look at the highlight spot on the smaller green bubblethingy - looks as if the light direction is different from the others... maybe move it up a bit and rotate to right. Furthermore, this version also looks good to me.
If it's a splash then make it a better, more growing splash. If it's a drop of water - don't let it be nice symmetrical and stuck at one place - make it bold, fast, growing to other sides. Or if you want to show that without any water sign - then work very scrupulously on font. So far this does show the idea of linking and evolving a tiny bit, but the idea of growth is hidden. Maybe that will help you. Sorry if it sounds harsh.
kind of looks like a surprised alien turned sideways now. Maybe that's just me... I like the softer look of the previous ones more, I'd just like them more subtle. I think I also liked it more when the name was incorporated into it, I don't know if this is strong enough to be a standalone symbol without the name incorporated.
