I had some time to kill this afternoon, so I started sketching some lettering thingy and wound up with this =)
I'm obviously going for an old timey hand lettering style, with maybe a little side of Tim Burton.
It's far from being over. As you can probably see, there's still a lot of fine tuning and tweaking to do.
But I wanted to know what you good people think so far.

I'm liking it. It's fun. It's easy to read. I see you put that texture trick to work. Very nice. The only thing I'm seeing is that some of the characters don't carry a proportionate amount of weight, especially in the "ar" region. I definitely like where it's going.
Thanks, man. Yeah the proportion of each character is something I need to work on, as well as that pesky bar on the T which I don't really know what to do with =)
Maybe bring the length of the right side of the cross in so it doesn't so much like a capital F?
