Brief from client
I had some time to kill this afternoon, so I started sketching some lettering thingy and wound up with this =)
I'm obviously going for an old timey hand lettering style, with maybe a little side of Tim Burton.
And here's a new version of my hand lettered word mark.
Added some bits and dangling parts. It really get into a shape I like.
I'll keep working it.
If you have any suggestions, they are welcome.
EDIT: I removed the texture in the background, as it was kinda getting in the way visually. More tweaking to come.

So far so good! i prefer the "t" on this one but i still dont get the double cross bars on it, a lower case "t" should only have one... the main one the have through the middle, id leave the top one off as it make it look like a "F"
really like the style tho just try something different with the "t" maybe join the bottom of it into the "z" and main the t-z join together

I like what you did with the T here. I think the weight of the main crossbar is enough to distinguish this more from an F than the previous version. You did a good job of evening up the weight of the smaller characters too. Some of the curves look a little rough bit it almost goes with the slightly rough look you have here anyway, especially when you display it with the texture. I guess that's more of a judgement call. Nice.
