I had some time to kill this afternoon, so I started sketching some lettering thingy and wound up with this =)
I'm obviously going for an old timey hand lettering style, with maybe a little side of Tim Burton.
Ok, that's should be it. Spent the last 2 days fine tuning the fuck out o it. I honestly thing I'm pretty much done with phase 1. Phase 2 can commence now. Wait for it.

So to to sum it up, here are all the different versions I did. It's been a long way =)
This is definitely my favorite. The character weights are evenly distributed, the character spacing between the top row vs the bottom row is proportionate, and it has just enough flair without going over the top. Damn fine job, friend.

I really enjoyed this journey you've taken with this letter game. This final version feels more and more like Christmas, all that's missing are the snow flackes and some Christmas-like colors. Keep having fun!
p.s. just one small observation: on top o the letter "z" there's a little hole that's not really justified...looking forward to the next chapter.
