Recovery Africa Logo

Brief from client 

We are a very small nonprofit working on alcohol and recovery activities in Ghana, West Africa. I do all the communication for the organization, including trying to create our logo. We are a U.S. based organization, which is registered as a 501(c)3 in Ghana. In the U.S. we are affiliated under a recovery-based umbrella nonprofit. BTW the colours in the logo on this site appear a lot brighter. We plan on expanding to more countries, hence the use of 'Africa'. Thank you for any feedback.

Using a free graphic from the Illustrator symbol library says it all. Besides that the ugliest RGB color combination which will not work in print. Putting that distorted silhouette of Africa to the background is a real sockdolager:(
