Brief from client
Needs to look simple, clean, professional.
Needs to work on websites, in visual media (lower thirds and banners), and in print (letterheads).
Their eye can be reworked or continued to be used.
SEM is redoing their logo and asked me to take a crack at it. I have 5 versions/variations for consideration.
This version features a play on the idea of a simplistic eye. It looks like it could be 2 different things depending on which way your eye focuses. The font is very simple and meant to be easy to read.

This may be the most potent idea you had out of your proposals.
But the execution is pretty lazy. Again, it feels you just did that in like 30 sec.
Focus on this one and sketch (pen and paper, no computer!) a few dozen ideas. And even before that, get as much inspiration as you can (www.logopond.com www.dribbble.com)
