Servants Heart by Design Logo

Brief from client
This is a personal freelance graphic design logo for myself.
I am looking to incorporate a heart along with a crown of thorns in the symbol. This logo needs to represent me as a designer.
Yet another one with no brief, so I'll write it for you.
I wanted to create a logo that looked a little like a fried egg in the middle of a rough spirograph sketch. The yoke would be a heart, because I love eggs.
The font used for the text should look disjointed and nothing to do with any of the other elements, thus achieving a slap dash feel.
The colours I have chosen are inspired by the standard colour palette in illustrator.
Sorry for being a bit mean, but if you're going to bother creating a logo and then uploading it, you should at least take the time to answer the ONE question you are asked, which is. What was the brief from the client? In this case, you're the client, so make one up at the very least.
When it comes to personal branding, I don't really think the "brief" is mandatory.
I for one like the general idea of the symbol, though the bramble thing looks a bit like a bunch of snails =)
What bothers me is that I don't really feel the connection between the symbol and the text. It feels like it's just stacked.
Grand Hotel is really cool font, but the whole thing is butchered by this big ass subtext. The font doesn't compliment Grand Hotel at all and looks too m uch like a fantasy type from DaFont.
I'd focus on the symbol, pick a simpler font and place it less prominently. Maybe warp it around the symbol.
I really like the colors you have here but I also feel the sense that each element doesn't really feel like it belongs with the other. And, the thorns do kind of look like snails. They're more round than pointy. I think your concept is sound so keep at it.
ok, alot has been said, the egg, the snails, the fonts...
You need to find harmony between all the elements you want to put in your logog, maybe after a while you´ll decie to left some of them out, or use it in other way maybe using the thorns as a modification to the typo, or using the heart in some other less " i love breakfast" look
