Servants Heart by Design Logo

Brief from client
This is a personal freelance graphic design logo for myself.
So upon everyone's advice I have taken out the "by design" and the line, I think they are unnecessary. I tried to fix the type in this version, it's less thick and a bit better for scaling. I'm not so super worried about that aspect. I am sticking with this hand lettering, I tried a few different ways to do the type including separating all these letters but it just didn't look good or natural at all. So final thoughts on this one?

These are two examples of the logo as a watermark.

I really like it, I was thinking about the posibility of keeping "by design" under the logo, it would specify more the intention of your business.
I like the idea about adding the heart stain to your work but I repeat, adding the whole logo may be better for you to win a position between your consumers, (I like to think in design but marketing it's important too), just to remind you that a few of us may like it, but think in all the people that will look at the heart and say "oh its a I LOVE thing..."
About the color of the typo, I would use a more energic color, that goes well with the red, try to create a sense of alert for the people.
Sorry if my english is not good.
Hugs
I agree, add some explanation of what you do or some hint. Servants heart can be anything. Not necessarily by design, but can be something like /graphic desig, art studio or something like that. I still find the negative space in _t_ not good. The space is something between _the gap is there and not at the same time_ Either make it more obvious or make it thinner, so there is no space.
Second, the heart shape is not curved well on the left side.
All together it's nice idea. The feeling of it is playful. It depends where you are going with it.
That s all from me.
I know you have outlined that you are going to use this hand written font but i dont think its particularly legible and im not a fan of it if im honest, but you are the designer and its your decision in the end
as for me too, i really am not a fan of the font you have used. a simpler font would be much better and i believe that will go well with the logo in red. lower-case font if possible. that's my suggestion.
OK the heart is red, but red-black.......i don't no!!!
